The remarks would have been grossly inappropriate at the first hearings. But you get a pass for political remarks when one side of the room has spread accusations that you gang raped children.

I’ve previously said that his overtly political remarks rubbed me the wrong way. But I will not hold his rage against him, given the horrific accusations that our elected representative and journalists (not you) freely spread.

This is one of my biggest concerns. The allegations are serious, yes, but in addition, his hostility and pandering of conspiracy theories while testifying before the SJC should’ve immediately disqualified him in *all* senators eyes.

Hopefully he moves to the right of Thomas. Maybe that’s why Thomas is so far to the right, he’s upset over being falsely accused and traducing his name in front of the country like that.
