In the 1990s and 2000s, there was huge growth right downtown + in the suburbs. But since 2010, all the growth has clustered near downtown + around downtown. Suburban growth is flat. http://bit.ly/2K9hdSx pic.twitter.com/jonz8dOqJk

DC is....pretty small. In most bigger cities 3-10 miles from downtown is square in a residential neighborhood of that city.
