Justice Alito sold his Schlumberger stock on 12/12/17, seemingly so he could take part in a patent case involving its WesternGeco unit. Weird thing is that acc'g to docket, he didn't take part in 1/12/18 grant and didn't publicly unrecuse until 3/28/18.

Alito or his wife also bought stock in Becton Dickinson, which occasionally is involved in Supreme Court appeals. Pretty rare for a justice to be buying a new stock (and a new potential conflict that could keep him out of cases).
