Yesterday’s stunt truly backfired on Cruz and Hawley- two craven politicians who danced too close to the fire. They should be expelled and moreover, tried and sent to prison for treason. Then, at least somebody will have learned their lesson.

I think some of these people lack the education or mental capacity to understand the severity of what they did. Some definitely were armed terrorists. Some were goofy cosplay characters meandering around and taking naps. Bizarre scene.

Question - to this layman, 'seditious conspiracy' seems easiest to prove, since Congress was specifically executing the Electoral Count Act at the time and that was the seditionists' target. Why does that only rate a "may apply"?
