I started working as a translator in 1999, mainly with digital products—my background is not in translation, but in digital media, the thing is that in the 90s it was hard to find translators who knew about the Internet, software, etc. and I had some background in languages.
Still today, with more than 21 years of experience creating contents for digital products, sometimes I have impostor syndrome because I've never had a job with "UX writer" in the title. Most people don't understand that localisation is part of content design, not an afterthought.
And I've also worked as a web designer, video editor, copywriter, blogger, etc. A lot of different stuff related to digital media, but what people think about content design, localisation, etc. stills make me feel insecure.
