I truly hope the DC police (or police in whatever nearby state you decided to live) arrest you for possession of an illegal firearm. Then tell the police that they are a part of the government that does "NOT" get to tell you how to keep your family safe. See how that works out.

Lauren Boebert has been arrested four times and is under investigation for “unlawfully providing a handgun to a juvenile” who worked at her Colorado restaurant. She was with her husband when he was arrested for exposing his penis to a minor. Not exactly a law-abiding gun owner.

She has to get a DC permit to carry in DC and they aren't easy to get. Also no firearms are allowed in the Capital Building, so she is spouting BS.
