    Today SCOTUS said that some nuns who didn’t have to pay for birth control still don’t have to pay for birth control, and a bunch of other employers will get to deny their employees access to no-cost contraception because Trump is president. Isn’t that fun.

    I was so concerned about her physically after those arguments. She just seemed so frail — beyond her usual petite stature. But she was so sharp and fierce, on this subject that was her life’s work. It was amazing to behold.

    Also thinking about how I got to see her on the SCOTUS bench in the June Medical case in March. Turned out to be one of her last times physically there. Overwhelmingly grateful for that experience.
