What a fucking joke. Leader rotation taking multiple hours was completely incorrect and I bet and new better but for some reason didn't correct that misinformation? Also, Solana has over 10x the amount of validators compared to FTM...

Btc had a 2 hour period between blocks last year when hashpower dropped. So all chains will have longer then expected time between blocks if there is a quorum loss.

A state level attack, or a bug that runs node out of memory like what happened on , can cause a quorum loss, and as long as 1 replica survives it will eventually continue.
