Hey Crypto Twitter – according to being disrespectful toward regulators and politicians in your tweets – i.e. calling them names or mocking them – could be a “very bad business decision.”
What do you think – do you agree or disagree?

Isn't "being disrespectful" towards anybody a “very bad business decision”?

Yes, but in this case the regulators also have the power to make your life hell. In business if someone doesn’t like you, mostly it just means they won’t work with you.

You should listen to the full episode. I don’t think you would come away with that opinion.

We spent 4 years being as polite as possible and it got us absolutely nowhere.
It's hard to imagine how being honest about the corruption and depravity of the SEC could make things worse.

Calling them names & mocking them is certainly not professional or productive. But if there's anything to be learned from the last decade of DC politics & policy, it certainly isn't "ask nicely & be polite to get what you want." The grassroots are big & loud. That's a good thing.
