This is the notice The Wing sent out last night about all its offices closing immediately. I last went two weeks ago for the first time in a long time. All the trash cans were full and there was only one employee visibly around (at the front desk).

I’m hardly the biggest booster of the Biden administration, but it is to me utterly astounding (and profoundly depressing) that those demanding “accountability” for Afghanistan focus on the president who got us out, not on the people who kept us in a losing war for 20 years.

It's too bad the Senate doesn't have a functioning ethics committee. Because threatening civil violence for enforcing the law certainly brings disrepute on the Senate. If we're now refraining from enforcing the law because of the threats of public violence then we've already ...
