  5. Finally, thanks to everyone who has put so much time and thought into these questions. My advice is to vote NO on the officer amendment and YES on the signatures amendment and work with the board and committees to find better ways to improve our leadership structure.

  6. Several people have asked how to change their vote. You can do that TODAY by emailing director@nasw.org to get a fresh voting link, or in person Saturday morning at the business meeting (your paper ballot there will override any earlier electronic vote).

    My 101-year-old grandmother Toshiko died three weeks ago. We are cleaning out her home and I found these relics from their time in the Topaz, Utah, relocation camps in WWII—my grandfather’s WRA cards, my father’s school essay years later and the Topaz Times camp newspaper.
