It's puzzling to me that some seem to think that "assumptions" are unscientific, or that it's bad that models disagree. It isn't bad. This is how modeling works under uncertainty. There are multiple models predicting COVID-19 deaths. What do they say? And why do they differ? @ryanabest and @jayboice draw on @reichlab's aggregation to track different models and outline why their different assumptions lead to different predictions.
