Other tidbits: the debate didn't consolidate the field -- the mean number of candidates voters were considering stayed at 2.5. While 47% of voters were considering the same number of candidates before and after, 27% were considering fewer -- and 26% were considering more!

The share of people considering only one candidate went up, and the share of people considering two went down. It seems like the debate was useful in helping respondents who were torn between just a few candidates decide, while more undecided people were left even more confused.pic.twitter.com/1kYXVRvYNh
