The government was defeated 328-301 -- a sizable majority for the rebel alliance. That, plus the fact that Labour, Lib Dems and SNP seem to have coordinated on wanting to pass tomorrow's bill before assenting to an election, seems to suggest that they're working together well.

The whip is being removed from the 21 Tory rebels
"The Chief Whip is speaking to those Tory MPs who did not vote with the Govt this evening. They will have the Tory whip removed,” says a Downing Street spokesperson.One said he was informed it was being removed last night.
