Thanks to the people who pointed out that Biden, Buttigieg and O'Rourke supporters actually didn't rate their own candidates highest. We've corrected the article. Unsurprisingly, each candidate's top grade did come from their own supporters.

"each candidate’s supporters thought that candidate did the best" is false. Biden supporters gave Warren 4.2 but Biden 4.1; Beto supporters gave Sanders, Harris, AND Warren 4.1 but Beto only 4.0.

Good catch! See my follow-up tweet.

Harris averaged a full point higher than Biden. 4.3 compared to 3.3. If she keeps this up she just might land the nomination.
-
For reference, the averages: Biden 3.3 Sanders 3.7 Harris 4.3 Warren 4.2 Buttigieg 3.7 Booker 3.8 O'Rourke 3.1

I read this as “Pete supporters are both honest and kind”

-
I looks to me like most Pete supporters have Warren and Harris as their next in line, which makes perfect sense to me.

Great chart. Suggests which candidates’ supporters will be flexible or rigid, maybe? I’m homing in on Warren/Harris myself. Let’s put them in a room and let them decide who’s P or V.

Castro should be on there instead of Beto

This isn't an apples to apples comparison, Biden was the only candidate under the gun, so to speak. Warren had no competition and neither did Harris: no one held them to account for their records...
