The weird thing about this quote is that I think pretty much everyone feels this should be the case, including for those of us who think they should have more power than they do in the second case. We all want dogs to be more subject to government regulation than humans.

Measles, on the other hand... Causes fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes, commonly followed by a rash that covers the whole body. Measles can lead to ear infections, diarrhea, and infection of the lungs (pneumonia). Rarely, measles can cause brain damage or death.

Also, you extrapolated from the fact that pancreatitis is possible and that it is a factor for diabetes, which could, if untreated, lead to organ failure, that MMR causes organ failure. By that logic, waking up causes death, not to even mention twitter & electronic device usage.

My point was that, if you're going to build upon things, you may as well go all the way. & untreated diabetes (which is how far you got) can lead to organ failure and death. I also addressed the fact that almost ANY compound put into the body can cause negative reactions in some.

One doesn't acquire immunity to measles unless one gets measles or gets vaccinated. So, basically, the choice for the newborn is to get some immunity from the mother before being old enough to vaccinate vs. being completely unprotected and risking measles.
