the opponent can ALWAYS roll on reaction since the move is slow AF, they can also ledge jump aerial and beat us pretty bad if they read it, even send us offstage. it will never shieldbreak unless you land onstage instead of grabbing the ledge.

Other interesting tidbits. Shielding a getup attack vs a large character results in a Bowser Bomb that spikes at low ish % Characters that have safe fairs from the ledge like ness and Pikachu. Not sure what to do about these guys. I've had some success with ftilt and fsmash

DownB OOS is frame 22, and ledge attacks' safety on shield is not universally the same, out of the few characters that get spiked from a grounded DownB at the ledge, (dark)Samus and KKR can shield before the scoop hits them.

Just so you know, for characters with good double jumps, one mixup that you can use to counter bowser's ledge trapping is to footstool his shield when he's using it at ledge to cover your options. Landing isn't very pretty against bowser (and it's a free uair if he reads) but yea

One thing I see a lot is an ftilt 2-frame attempt into side b when they roll. Do you recommend up b for rolls just to keep them at ledge?

retreating UpB sends them right back offstage, SideB has more range tho and can send offstage on the other side of the level. Experiment with it!
