I was not familiar with the book series when I started watching #Bridgerton
but Rhimes should ensure the leads are strong in each season because Regé-Jean saved the first season for countless viewers.
What's weird is wouldn't a rider in a contract about continued participation in the series be a standard clause? It's not like Shondaland didn't have any bargaining chips. And it's not like Season One adhered to the first book like it was the Bible.
Exactly. They changed a lot the 1st book for the series. Also Simon is still in the other books. They could have written more stuff for him & Dafne as secondary characters for the following seasons. Simon, after all, became a Bridgerton, and he is Anthony’s best friend. Anyway.
