AND it appeared in the same issue as my friend and sometime coauthor Dan Malinsky's excellent piece (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11229-017-1341-z …) on making sense of interventionism in the context of social structural causes of outcomes.
(When he was writing it Malinsky quipped that he had used maths to make the world safe for saying "Capitalism causes bad stuff". But if you wanna be an evil enemy of the proletariat you could also use it to say "Capitalism causes good stuff", so don't @ me centrist twitter).
