Ah ok I see, a kinda crowding out effect! Longino discusses the social conditions of dialogue and discourse are needed to sustain pluralism, and her latest book praises feminist and not especially feminist approaches for working together in some areas of study of human behaviour.

So I think she wants to say it’s actual so it’s possible. But it definitely does strike directly at the argument summarised to say that value pluralism that allows in political values is self undermining, as people then destroy the conditions required to sustain it. Interesting!
