Are there any particular strains in Catholic (presumably, scholastic) thought that have influence you? I find it interesting there's no mention of Positivism here! Or have you taken down the path of my project of producing a scholasticized positivism?

The positivism is a subset of the Marxism! Augustine and Franciscan thought especially with the Catholics.

How much does the Marxist tradition have to say what is to be a good person on the individual-to-individual level? Catholicism certainly has an Aristotelian strain and seems like that could be blended Ruist thinking easier than with some traditions.

A lot of what folk like in humanism I take from Confucianism, which is often remarked to be an especially humanistic philosophy.
