Ah I might have to immediately retract, not understanding Aristotelian theory too well, but I always thought part of becoming virtuous person was achieving an emotional balance and apt-feeling responsiveness to the world, as opposed to just banishing one's affective reactions.

I wish they wouldn't drag logic into it so much. So often I see 'sorry you don't like LOGIC' and I think they're just using it to mean 'me and my friends' harsh opinions'.
