It's definitely Satoshi Kon's most emotionally-centred film, and consequently the one I cry the most when rewatching. In short, I Cri Evrytiem.

Yep same -- the last line gets me like clockwork no matter how I prepare for it, and likewise I cry whenever Chiyoko does. Love it so much.

It's one film that does a wonderful job of earning your emotional trust in what the filmmaker and main character each have done while also throwing you for a double-take in almost every scene. I loved them both so much after seeing the film.
