Leave voters in UK's EU referendum are so gullible, they can even be led to believe they knew what they were voting for with brexit😂 🇪🇺

As a Dutchman having lived, worked and raised a family in UK, the feeling that best describes my emotions is: Come on UK, I love you and respect you, but also be aware, there’s nothing special about you as a country that means you deserve ‘special treatment’ from EU.

  2. Of course some standards, like pollutants allowed, require maximum permissible levels so here’s what you do . You agree minimum and maximum levels and both UK and EU can deviate from that and still claim divergence from EU achieved for your gullible voters

  3. ask them please..... does understand you can agree common ‘minimum’ standards in a trade deal without losing face and while keeping open the possibility to exceed them?

  5. You can agree by treaty to maintain common high [minimum] standards which you can both exceed if that’s what takes your fancy? , there, I fixed it for you🤗

  6. Look the solution to your standards conundrum is really quite simple. Just agree some minimum standards (also known as the lowest common denominator) and agree UK and EU27 can exceed them to their hearts content. There, I’ve solved it for you!

  12. So UK has a number of higher standards than EU? Doesn’t he understand the concept of minimum standards? Or is he again illustrating is a pointless exercise?

  15. I was looking at our exports (G&S) according to ONS data published in October( ) I thought I would just add a few columns to see in which countries exports were growing It looks clear to me that the bigger growth market for exports is the EU, not the RoW.

As I understand things, Polish people: - have a good education system - understand the importance of solidarity after WWII - don't use Facebook much - don't have a feudal society, nor Eton toffs - don't have a right-wing billionaire press monopoly - are laughing at the UK
