I’ve never understood “fat-free half and half”. That makes no sense and completely defeats the purpose.https://twitter.com/JonahNRO/status/1019916809246527489 …

Folks, there's no reason to use skim milk for anything. It's at best milk-themed blue sugar water. Whole milk is for cereal. Half and Half or -- ideally, heavy cream -- for coffee. It is known. https://twitter.com/TheAtlantic/status/1019915532634591232 …

My body has the unfortunate habit of turning all fat into cholesterol 🙁 fat free half and half allows me to delude myself into thinking I’m consuming deliciousness - kinda like #Trump supporters believe he’s a powerful self-made businessman I keep my delusions more believable

And so we’re back to the “which is worse, far or sugar?” debate. It’s a shame nutrition scientists can’t do research without interference from the food industry!

Just eat in moderation. If you want half and half in your coffee, use half and half. Don't blindly believe you are being healthy by putting sugar syrup in your coffee instead

Here ya go: I'm a dairy girl... love it love it. And love creamy coffee, not bitter & not w/ milk or skim-- yuck! HOWever, almost any bit of fat gives me heartburn. Hence, fat-free half n half! Tastes exactly same in my coffee imho, & no heartburn. Fewer clogged arteries also!

Fat Free Half and Half is a very bad mash-up of milk wanna-be's. If you get farm fresh, untreated whole milk it tastes as rich as real half and half when you put it in your coffee. Also, have you ever a bowl of corn flakes with heavy cream and fresh strawberries?

We used skim milk when I was a kid. The only good thing about it is how amazing whole milk tastes in comparison. I switched years ago and still get surprised by the satiny goodness of whole milk.

Completely correct. How can *anything* that’s supposed to be, literally, 50% cream & 50% milk be “fat-free”? It boggles the mind, yet the unthinking, diet-conscious folks shell out good money for it.
