    Military troops don't belong at the border. Deploying the military in U.S. communities is a dangerous move and contrary to the fundamental norms of a civil society.

    I sang with Maya Angelou at a party held yearly at the home of a mutual friend. She had a wonderful voice, knew the lyrics to everything from the old civil rights songs to Hank Williams songs, and had great stories about songwriters she knew.

    Patient advocate HERO, went on a crucade a few months ago to ensure Twitter has a category for hate speech against people with disabilities. On 4/2/18, Twitter added “people with disabilities” as a protected category. Thank you, Natalie! AMAZING!

    Natalie Weaver took on Twitter and won. Through her hard work, she was able to turn extremely negative interactions with trolls into an opportunity to get Twitter to include disabilities as a protected category in their reporting feature. Great job !
