Content that are not meant to be visually watched is no more allowed to be monetized on Youtube.

That’s false, regardless of how you look at it. Many music channels get monetization through their music and remixes, with slim to no visuals. This is youtube’s algorithm being as deplorable as ever.

First the "reused content" thing is pretty recent. Every day new channels got hit by that. And secondly a lot of channels that has no visual content on their video are actually hit by a musical content id.

That’s bizarre to me. I’ve been on youtube for a very long time and I see hundreds of channels post music with a static screen, still with monetization. I’m not disagreeing with you, simply stating what it is I see based on experience. Either all of it is ok, or none of it is ok.

In my opinion Youtube no more want to "waste" ad video on content that people are not supposed to visually watch. This is probably in order to increase the revenue of other Youtubers that actually do content meant to be visually watched.
