Wait a sec. You can get history too? How far back? If someone clears history in Safari, traces of it can still be viewed through the file system events API?

Yes, because file deletion is a file system event too. :-) I'm not sure how far back it goes, but seems to be at least 2 weeks here. I think everything is stored in the folder "/.fseventsd/"
