I'm going to call this Redmond's Law: There's nothing so bad in computing that Microsoft hasn't already tried it. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.teamfoundation.build.server.rest.controllerscontroller(v=vs.120).aspx …
-
On a scale of 1 to ω, how bad would it be to name a class "ControllersController"?
-
One problem with Objective-C is that it encourages programmers to try to make their singletons generic. (Yes, you heard me correctly!)

I guess refunds work the same way as non-MAS apps w/o online license check. But Apple could invalidate the receipt when you run App Store.
-
What happens after you're refunded for a MAS app? The app still seems to work.

I don't file Radars, I write blog posts. Apple can follow my RSS feed.

Tim Cook: "We would like to be a catalyst for taking cash out of the system." Is this why they've hoarded $230 billion?
-
If Apple killed the Mac, they wouldn't make Xcode for iOS, with no file system, or Windows, which would be humiliating. They'd do Xcloud.

I think most people never see this because they use NSWindowController and a nib, in which case releasedWhenClosed is ignored.
-
Had to set NSWindow releasedWhenClosed to NO to stop the crash. I would have thought releasedWhenClosed is a NOP in ARC.

-
Oh the irony, getting a crash in -[NSAutoreleasePool drain] in an ARC app.
-
Argh, another ARC crash. I thought the point of ARC was to prevent this!
