"Without grammar explanations I'm afraid I'll misunderstand something". There's nothing to misunderstand because there is nothing to understand! Acquisition doesn't mean figuring out grammar rules yourself. It means letting your intuitive system get used to the patterns.

True enough but the occasional look at grammar especially examples, does help me to notice.
