Feeling shy when speaking a foreign language? One way to reduce your shyness is getting really good at the language! Knowing that you'll be understood makes it much easier.

Have to disagree on this one. If you only dare to speak when good, you'll never get good. Interacting and putting yourself out in communicative situations is the key to getting enough CI to make progress.

It's true that actually talking to people is a great source of CI. However, I see so often people who have got really bad experiences when attempting to use the little language they know with native speakers, and get turned off from learning the language, and that's such a pity!
You can actually get quite good at the language, even if you don't have the chance to travel to the country where it's spoken, so I also don't want people to give up on learning a language for that reason. You can actually get REALLY good without speaking! I did it.

The key is seeking out kind people who will tolerate bad speaking! When you find a nice person, keep them! 😊 Love your work, Pablo!
