When we say “talented” what we actually mean is “responds well to traditional teaching methods”. Everybody is talented at acquiring!

The "talented" label isn't only applied to good traditional language learners. I've been told I have a talent for languages because of abilities I've gained through acquisition. I tell those who say that if they saw all the comprehensible input I had gotten they would reconsider.
