I often hear: "But I don't have time for input!". I would say you don't have time to waste studying vocabulary that you'll soon forget, or studying grammar rules that you won't be able to use outside of a classroom.

I use "pop-up grammar" in my classes. "Grammar nuggets" is a fun way to phrase it as well. Do you wait until they ask for an explanation or give clarification after observing errors?
