Are you a visual learner? Or an aural learner? NEITHER! Learning styles is a myth not supported by science. You can't learn to play tennis by listening or to play music by reading about it. Each ability has its own approach, and we all learned language the same way as babies.

Ugh! This kinda pseudo science bugs me. Don’t even get me started in left brain vs. right brain. Also, there is no such thing as a “sugar high”.

When I've practiced & tried but still don't get it, there are times when I need to ask "Show me!" That usually clears it up.

In raising twin boys with Asperger's before it was a widely accepted syndrome, Temple Grandin's book "Thinking in Pictures" changed everything for me as their mom and "life teacher". If the concept of learning styles helps even one teacher reach one child, I am good with that!

I think each task is learned by using a variety of #learningstyles. No you can't learn tennis just by listening. But you can learn to play by listening to advice and instructions, watching experts, doing physical practice of skills, reading up on tips and techniques...
