I’m going to add to this. That I was writing my whole life but I just saw it as something I did to soothe me. It was until my 3rd year of college when I said “yeah, I’m gonna to tell stories for a living.” And then realized I has to like actually like ... write. Consistently.

I wrote A LOT from about 15 to 28, but then shit took a bad turn, and I gave it up for years. I'm 34 now and started writing hardcore again three months ago.

9? I very *seriously* wrote a terrible story that was basically Anaconda from the snake's POV. My parents, bless their hearts, found it and called my titas and titos long distance to tell them their daughter was a prodigy.
