The next round of @TFBenchmarks won't probably use a kernel new enough to support io_uring, but I'm hoping the round after that will, and it will be glorious. A lot of work is being done all around to support it and it'll be awesome to see the performance jump.

They're probably going to update it only after the next round; at least, that's what I would expect. It's not worth updating it now, not many implementations using io_uring yet.

And let‘s hope the memlock limit is high enough. That‘s the second possible show stopper for io_uring besides the kernel version...

Right. It's just the matter of setting things up; I don't think it'll be an issue once more frameworks end up supporting it.
