    The autonomous region of Catalonia just voted to officially recognize the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria — on the level of a nation-state. What is decentralization in practice? Actually-existing decentralization looks like this!

    The Catalan Parliament is currently debating a resolution to officially recognize the AANES. If successful, it would be the first time any parliament level body did so. Parliamentarians are giving speeches in the chamber.
