I don't understand how a physician could ever call that a conspiracy theory. Even if I hadn't personally witnessed it happening to my now-partner, you would have to be blind to miss the social influence if you spend any time at all talking to your young patients.

He dodges the issue completely but many ppl will see the tweet & assume that saying, "trans youth is not new" is the same thing as proving that the recent huge increase in young ppl seeking transition has no element of social contagion & that medical marketing doesn't exist.

Huge amount of young people who do not respires their feelings and are not abused by society for having them. No they must be entirely new just like all these old people suddenly identifying as gay...

Please excuse my ignorance. They approach (gay?) guys to transition to girls and approach (gay?) girls to transition to guys? The candidates must be very confused people (I say that respectfully). That's crazy to hear about.
