many detransitioners dont go back to their gender clinic to inform them of their regret. we simply stop taking the hormones and stop going to the gender clinic.

The funny thing is, all of problems that he has identified with detransition, actually apply much more to transition.

I’ve changed gender clinics twice since I started hormones, how would the clinics tell between me and a detransitioner who just decided to stop hormones? Or a trans person who stopped being able to afford their hormones?

It’s just sooooo improbable that many of these people one day find themselves so tired of endless medical procedures, injections, side effects, the fact that transition did not solve their psychological distress, and just realise they do not want to do it any longer.

Endless medical procedures and side effects? I get one shot every three weeks.. it’s not that big of a deal.
