It feels similar to how turning around and looking at trans ideology critically, and as a 19 year old at the time looking at 13/14 year olds just discovering it and recognizing my old self in their poorly thought out arguments and difficulty understanding their emotions

Helped to resolve a lot of my dysphoria. I think young people are caught off guard by the power and complexity of life's suffering. They didn't sign up for it, and they haven't had the life experience to overcome it and realize that though suffering is a part of life it's also

The only way humans learn and grow. So because of this they're so susceptible to utter crazy nonsense, and the next thing you know it's 5 years later and you're a bulimic with a moustache who's taking testosterone. All young people will experience pain and suffering,

That's a given and there's not much we can do to stop that because like I said, it's the only way to grow. What we have to do though is to help these kids do that growing and protect them from the seduction of online ideologies that can veer their lives off track into

Years and years of self destruction, not growth. Too many girls who started with normal feelings of insecurity and isolation have died of disordered eating or have had their relationships to food destroyed. Too many girls who started out with normal feelings of alienation

And "wrong"ness have gotten hormones and surgeries they now painfully regret. We could have overcome that normal adolescent suffering w/o scars. Many of us could have had different lives completely, if not for the Internet being the way it is right now. Adults need to wake up.
