Some of these channels have had controversial videos that amassed a lot of views and social media discussion, such as Riley J. Dennis's genital preferences video & Gigi Gorgeous's pregnancy video. Keep this in mind. (3/11)

I picked these youtubers b/c they are channels that were influential to me when I identified as trans between 2013-early 2018. I was curious to see how they were doing after I both detransitioned and began to notice a shifting tide around the discussion on trans issues. (4/11)

Let's jump into it, shall we? First I will show Chase Ross, who did not show any significant decline. This channel seemed to remain somewhat static in views in 2018, with two major spikes in March and May. (5/11)pic.twitter.com/movICgJU7T

Alex Bertie started out the year with a lot of spikes that pointed to an increase in views, but experienced a drastic decrease and plateau around June, followed by a slight but consistent decrease for the rest of the year. (6/11)pic.twitter.com/0bRKvpIl3J

As for channels who did experience a decline, the most notable of these would be Milo Stewart, Ash Hardell, and Stef Sanjati. Poor Ash. :( (7/11)pic.twitter.com/83QWpVusjt

At the start of 2018, Gigi Gorgeous had a pretty consistently rising amount of views. Around April, these views plummet and spike up again in August due to the pregnancy video August 20th, but then go back down again. (8/11)pic.twitter.com/M0vJjCpnLt

As for Riley, there are many spikes, as Riley has many controversial videos, but a general decline in the second half of 2018 nonetheless. (9/11)pic.twitter.com/NCIerSIRGy

From my findings in this quick glance, it seems that these major trans youtubers are experiencing an overall decline in views outside of highly controversial uploads that would generate views from people who are not subscribers. (10/11)

Given I find an accurate tool, I would also like to analyze subscriptions in the future, as that can be a better indicator of who genuinely enjoys and follows a creators content. Thank you for reading :) (11/11)
