so no children from disadvantaged backgrounds should have the chance? What about gifted children let down by comprehensives?
Grammar schools don't aid social mobility. Kids from disadvantaged backgrounds are still less likely to go even if they get the grades #pmqs

@OctDalby I actually CHOSE NOT to go to a#GrammerSchool even though I had passed the 11plus. Too many snobs even in 1980's
