I have reoccurring Junji Ito-esque nightmares where I'm pulling (hundreds of these) needles from under the skin of my forearms and elbows, using contraptions to delete literal objects of reality around me while gasping for air in some sort of breath-play latex bubble.

This is hardly even 25% of the detail I've can delve into. Industrial environments in cities I grew up in, find myself outside burning cabins where I can hear conversations or arguments my father (and myself) had when I was younger, screaming and yelling. Could write pages.

Breaking out of Vorkuta-esque prisons with childhood friends and being caught (many of my dreams and nightmares contain elements and objects of childhood). I've had hundreds of little pre-cognitive dreams since I was 10 - 12. Never bothered to keep a journal, all recollect.

Saw your tweet. Wonder if overstimulation of growing up in urban area is responsible. My dreams are perhaps more peaceful because (I suspect) I grew up in rural areas surrounded by fields of green produce

Also I often wake and still think I’m in the dream, for instance I once dreamed I started dating an old crush from years ago, and reached over in my bed fully expecting to feel her there. But as soon as I realized it was a dream, all the intricate detail evaporated immediately.

It’s extremely difficult for me to recall my dreams. Perhaps that’s for the best.

I'm an incredibly poor lucid dreamer since I become so vigorously engrossed in thematic elements of the play. I suppose this is why I can recall so many of them. If I had a bitcoin for every dream between the ages of 4 and 8 I fell down the fucking stairs. Holy shit.
