Thinking about making one domestic (US & Canada) and one international trip every year starting 2018. What are your recommendations?

Places with low human populations and low poverty indexes. Iceland. New Zealand. Montana. It’s nice to go see wide open green spaces without having to interact with poor bug people. (never goin back to Costa Rica smh)

Had a buddy who made a ridiculous amount of money doing fly fishing guide work up there one summer. Way he describes it, sounds like paradise

Also feel like I owe it to Norman Maclean. The setting of a River Runs Through It is a character itself. The book had a huge impact on me when I read it, feel like I’m obligated to see the place for myself now

You’re west coast, right? If you’re ever looking for a good trip out east, try the blue ridge parkway in the Appalachian mountains. It’s beautiful. Finish up by heading to the coast and check out the OBX, beautiful scenes of desolation as far as the eye can see in some spots
