Thinking about making one domestic (US & Canada) and one international trip every year starting 2018. What are your recommendations?
Also feel like I owe it to Norman Maclean. The setting of a River Runs Through It is a character itself. The book had a huge impact on me when I read it, feel like I’m obligated to see the place for myself now

Never seen it. I’ve only read the book. Convinced me to salvage my relationship with my brother before leaving for school, though I’ve yet to try my hand at fly fishing

You’re west coast, right? If you’re ever looking for a good trip out east, try the blue ridge parkway in the Appalachian mountains. It’s beautiful. Finish up by heading to the coast and check out the OBX, beautiful scenes of desolation as far as the eye can see in some spots
