id think you know that rounding ppl up and putting them in detention camps is characteristic of nazi germany specifically in a way that a national network of highways isnt--but still, youre right in that this is just an issue of historical metaphor, "neither here nor there"
Greece, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam. The list goes on. There’s plenty of examples of concentrating target populations and removing them without it resulting in genocide.

If leftism is a confederation of the “outs” of a society, then any attempt to remove a part of this coalition *has* to result in genocide thus providing an high moral impetus to act to preserve the coalition. It’s merely political mythology and there’s nothing noble about it.
