I disagreed with many opinions expressed but found a nice back & forth with people in two different head spaces. I think bitcoiners should listen to some of your broader points, for ex. the power of a full blown state sponsored attack and the robustness in such an event.

I literally know a journalist who also does web development. I'm sure she gets exposure to all that stuff. There are probably more people who code who could become _good_ journalists than the other way around. The hard part is finding people who can be _profitable_ journalists.

Easiest way to identify you have an almost cultish bias: If you think only ignorant people disagree w/you. If you can't play devil's advocate against your own opinion, then you don't actually understand why you have that opinion.

I know everyone that has access to Bitcoin, whether they choose to use it or not, is better off for it. It's quite the test to see which countries cut off that access.

A seasoned war reporter once told me if both sides of a conflict believe you’re biased for their enemy, but can’t dispute your core facts, then you’ve achieved objectivity. 😅

I know y'all want to create fancy new transcendental systems and stuff but maybe we could not start from scratch on every single thing? Do we really have ignore historical lessons on how to mitigate risk? Or why certain decision-making bodies work better than others?

There is no better way to onboard as a Bitcoin or Lightning developer than the residency. I don’t know enough adjectives to do justice to the incredible, well planned, thorough program. There is nothing like it. It is the Bitcoin of residencies.
