Is @NYTimes The Daily always this awful 1) Bogus potted history of Brat v. Cantor studiously ignores immigration.( It was all about Obamacare! Hello? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2014/06/11/yes-immigration-reform-hurt-eric-cantor/?utm_term=.5985f123e2be …) 1/https://nyti.ms/2DcsOQZ

Obamacare doesn't seem to have become popular until 2017-and then still 50/40 https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html … It did not take Medicare 3 years to become popular-took 0. Again, you were wrong to say it "start[ed] out unpopular." Obvious reasons for popularity-eg few "losers," unlike Ocare

The error makes it seem like Obamacare is part of the long tradition of successful New Deal/Great Society programs, when really it is much more troubled/precarious than Medicare. Presumably the "Medicare for all" camp will hit this point.
