CSS-wise things did not go so well. styled-components worked fine w/ the local dev build, but on Netlify the max-width property did not work as it should, though previously the same styles worked fine with "normal" css. Maybe I'll try Emotion next week. 2/2

Days 26-32: Completed part 02 of my full-stack web dev course + added a form to the blog using Formik & Netlify forms. Now if I ever actually publish this thing so that people can use the form, submissions will go directly to my Netlify dashboard 🙌 1/2

I'm also enrolled in a full stack web dev course , and while it doesn't include Gatsby per se, it has sections on React and GraphQL, so I'm including my React "homework" in this challenge as well. So far it's mostly stuff I know, but still useful. 2/2

Days 20-25 (I missed a day): I haven't got started on challenge 4 yet, but I did include in the project (at first I didn't think it was worth it and just used a global style sheet, but now I'm kind of excited). 1/2

The only issue that I had with gatsby-image was when I started getting an error message saying "Invalid SOS parameters for sequential JPEG". Turns out the issue wasn't with my queries, but the photo (taken with a Samsung phone).

Days 14-19: The biggest takeaway from this week is how amazingly easy gatsby-image makes it to optimize the images on your site. Definitely want to experiment more with the various fragment types next week.

Also, I think I'll switch to weekly updates on Twitter when it comes to . Daily updates are great for staying accountable, but maybe slightly boring to read... I feel like having a bit more time to reflect and synthesise might be good.

Day 13: Since this week's prompt is all about deploying/hosting I tried out both Netlify and Surge. Both were super quick and easy to use, but if I had to choose a winner - Netlify. The built in support for GitHub is awesome.

Day 12: Fixed the issues with the queries, so now both the prev/next navigation on the individual pages and the pagination on the post list work.

Day 11: My plan was just to quickly set up the previous and next article buttons to individual blog post pages. Seemed like an easy task, but somehow I managed to even break a query that was still working yesterday. Probably a sign that it's time to go to sleep.

Day 10: Limited the number of posts on the front page and added pagination there. Pagination for individual pages coming up next.

Day 9: Didn't get to pagination yet, but I read more about the onCreateNode action and fixed an issue that I had with my blog post dates.

Day 8: Ditched the hamburger menu (at least for now), did some other small style changes and added two more plugins to better handle images. Think I'll tackle pagination next.

Day 7: Tried to implement mobile-friendly navigation using react-burger-menu, but the styling still needs some work and know I'm kind of doubting whether a hamburger menu is really what I want anyway.

Day 5: Threw in a header and a footer and generally played around with the blog design. Still loads to do though, mobile navigation, SEO... and my CSS is a mess. I feel like I could dedicate the whole 100 days just to making the blog.

Day 4: Laid out the (extremely) basic structure for the blog based on the tutorials, but now I got stuck on the design. I know this is not a design challenge, but still...🙈
