We really deserve 3 day weekends. You need day 1 to do nothing. Recharge after the work week. You need day 2 for chores. You got shit you gotta get done. We all do. And you need day 3 for fun & joy. Spend it in a way that makes you happy.

I'm really trying to get folks to skip Fridays. It's so nice.

Regular tech companies would be a special kind of place if as devs/qas/pms we tried to work the Panama Schedule like a place I did ops shift work at did.

Super interesting (and probably a complete pain) for scheduling I mean. Have a feeling we'd end up with a lot of folks in meetings outside of their normal shift because hand offs weren't as smooth as we'd hope, same as when I worked that schedule.

Have you seen this https://youtu.be/ALaTm6VzTBw ? I'd prefer 3 day weekends, but it still looks like this scheme would be less draining

Yes, I don't like it because he works on Saturday. No thank you.

When I worked a 4x10 schedule I always appreciated the 3 days off. I still think 40 hrs a week is too much for most people though.
